Alex
ALEX BROWN - "A-TOWN"
- St. Augustine, Florida - FLIGHT LINE & OFFICE ASSISTANT -
Alex is an honor student at SJRCC in St. Augustine, Florida. He holds a Tae-Kwon-Do black belt and is a certified open water scuba diver. Alex has been flying since age three and is a Student Pilot with five hours of aerobatics in the Texan. He has worked for NATG four summers as office and flight line assistant. Alex also volunteers for EAA Photo at their annual AirVenture Convention and has been published in Vintage and Warbirds magazines.

ALLAN MOORE - "WHEATIE"
- Neptune Beach, Florida - PILOT - MECHANIC -
Airline Transport Rating, Certified Flight Instructor (Airplane Single and Multi engine and Instrument) and Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. A Kansas to Florida transplant, Allan has flown over 90 different aircraft, acquiring over 12,000 hours of experience. Allan has taught aerobatics and tailwheel transition and towed banners and gliders. When not flying for NATG Allan is a Jet Captain for a major airline.

ANDREW D'ERRICO - "CHEF"
- Lodi, New Jersey - CUSTOMER SERVICE REP -
Degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America. Andrew spent over 20 years as a restaurant chef before making the career change to aviation. He has always been a warbird enthusiast and for hobbies enjoys riding his motorcycle and playing guitar. Andrew provides customer service and aircraft cockpit briefings in St. Augustine and on our tour.

Bob
BOB ROTH - "BOLTER"
- Lake Worth, Texas - PILOT -
Airline Transport Rating and Certified Flight Instructor (single and multi-engine airplane). Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Arizona and has over 13,000 total flying hours with 4,800 hours instructing and 400 hours instructing aerobatics. He has been a factory demonstration pilot and instructor pilot for transport category turboprop aircraft, flying worldwide, and chief technical pilot for a Texas based airline. He has 1,300 hours flying large tailwheel aircraft with over 600 hours flying the Texan.

Bruce
BRUCE MOORE - "RICOCHET"
- Syracuse, New York - PILOT -
Airline Transport Rating (single and multi-engine airplane) Commercial (glider and seaplane), Certified Flight Instructor (single and multi-engine airplane, glider and instrument). Bruce has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Science. He has been an aerobatic flight instructor, glider flight instructor, production test pilot and corporate pilot. When not flying for NATG Bruce does specialty training in other aircraft and works for Photo-One, an aviation photography company specializing in air-to-photography. During Oshkosh AirVenture and Sun 'n Fun Bruce is also Chairman of EAA's Photo Pilot Department. Bruce has been flying since 1967 and has over 13,000 hours total flying time with more than 4000 hours in the Texan.

Dennis
DENNIS Van SWOL -"PROFESSOR"
- Everest, Kansas - PILOT -
Master of Science Degrees in Geophysics and Space Physics, Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Astronautical Engineering Science, Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science. Airline Transport Rating (multi engine airplane), Commercial (single engine airplane and glider) Certified Flight Instructor (single and multi engine airplane, instrument airplane and glider), Flight Engineer. Dennis has over 8000 hours, including WW II types like the C-47, C-45 and Texan. Dennis also completed a tour in the U.S. Air Force as a satellite and computer specialist. In addition to teaching flying Dennis has been an airline pilot, corporate pilot, a computer software engineer and has taught college science classes in physics, astronomy and geology. When not flying for NATG he flies freight in DC-9's.

Glenn
GLENN MOORE - "BILL"
- St. Augustine, Florida - FLIGHT LINE & OFFICE ASSISTANT -
Glenn is on the Sixth Grade Honor Roll and is a student pilot and a certified open water scuba diver. His hobbies are .22 target shooting and playing Warcraft on his computer. He works part time for NATG during the summer as an office and flight line assistant.

John
JOHN BECKER - "CIRCUS"
- Plainwell, Michigan - PILOT -
Commercial Pilot (airplane single and multi-engine, land and sea, helicopter), Certified Flight Instructor (airplane single and multiengine, helicopter, instrument). John has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Engineering Technology and has been flying since 1964. He completed over 180 combat missions in Marine F-8 Crusaders and later was an instructor in advanced jets. Following his military tour, John was an agricultural pilot for seven years and has over 5000 hours total flying time.

Liam
LIAM MULLANE - "MUSCLES"
- Fremont, Michigan - PILOT - MECHANIC -
Commercial (single and multi-engine airplane and glider), Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. Liam is a graduate of Lansing College (Aviation Maintenance Technology) and Flying Tigers Aviation (Agricultural Aircraft Operations). Liam has worked flying AG planes and doing glider and banner tow. He also has worked as a mechanic maintaining a variety of piston and turbine powered aircraft. Prior to Liam's aviation career he served six years as a sonar technician on fast attack submarines in the US Navy.

MARIEL D'ERRICO - "CLEANIE"
- Oakland, New Jersey - FLIGHT LINE & OFFICE ASSISTANT -
Mariel is in the Second Grade and her hobbies are Gymnastics and listening to music on her IPod. She works part time for NATG during her summer vacation as an office and flight line assistant.

MIKE HARTMAN - "BUZZARD"
- Dayton, Ohio - PILOT -
Commercial Pilot (single-engine land and insturment), Certified Flight Instructor (airplane). Mike has joined the NATG staff with 17 years of flight experience. He started flying gliders at age 14 and soloed a Piper J-3 Cub at age 17. Mike attended Kent State University for Aerospace Flight Technology and flew at Emery Aviation College in Colorado Springs. Mike taught IFT (Initial Flight Training) for future Air Force Pilots in Colorado and Ohio. He has flown and taught aerobatics in many different aircraft. He specializes in older aircraft from the late 20's through the 40's, most recently in WACO biplanes. Mike has 5,500 hours, over half of which are in tailwheel aircraft.

MIKE LEONE - "HUSTLER"
- Peoria, Illinois - PILOT -
Airline Transport Rating (multi-engine), Commercial Pilot (single-engine land and seaplane), Certified Flight Instructor (single and multi-engine and instrument). Mike holds degrees from DeVry Institute, College of DuPage and University of Wisconsin in Electronics, Management and Psychology and Product Management. Mike is a Check Airman, Cessna Certified Garmin G100 Instructor and Captain in the Civil Air Patrol. Mike has been an airline pilot, a corporate pilot, flown freight, towed gliders, and worked as a flight instructor. His hobbies are golf, shooting and barbershop singing. When Mike is not in the air you can find him making real estate deals on his cell phone.

NORMAN DEROCHER - "TERMINATOR"
- Tampa, Florida - OPERATIONS MANAGER -
Degree in Computer Electronics. US Army Squad Leader, 82nd Airborne Division. Combat Infantry, Rifleman and Sniper Badges, Jump Wings. 1984 US Army Soccer Team. Student Pilot. Licensed Skydiver. Norm has over five years experience in customer service at NATG and works at both the Home Office and on the Road Crew.

ROB AUMAN - "GOLDEN BOY"
- Bloomington, Indiana - PILOT -
Degree in Aviation Science. Airline Transport Pilot (multi engine airplane), Commercial (single engine airplane) and Certified Flight Instructor. Rob has been a flight instructor, flown night freight and has been flying the Texan for over ten years and 1,700 hours. When not flying for NATG Rob is a corporate pilot flying Gulfstream jets.

Steve
STEVE LARMORE - "MAD DOG"
- Delmar, Delaware - PILOT - MECHANIC -
Bachelor of Arts in Education. Commercial (single engine airplane, instrument airplane and glider) and Certified Flight Instructor (single engine airplane). Steve has been flying since 1968. In addition to his pilot's licenses Steve holds Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic and Inspection Authorization certificates. He has amassed over 11,000 hours total flying time in Warbirds, biplanes, gliders, towplanes and classic aircraft with over over 3,000 hours flying the Texan.

STEVE SHADE - "SHADER"
- St. Augustine, Florida - PILOT - MECHANIC -
Airline Transport Rating, Certified Flight Instructor and Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. Steve has been flying Texans for NATG since 1993 and has also been a glider and aerobatic instructor and an airline pilot flying twin-engine flying boats. Steve has over 8000 hours. When not flying for NATG Steve is a corporate pilot flying Jets and Turbo-props.

TONY PALESOTTI - "HOMER"
- Searcy, Arkansas - PILOT -
Airline Transport Rating (multi-engine airplane), Commercial Pilot (single engine airplane land and sea and helicopter), Certified Flight Instructor (airplane single and multi engine, instrument and helicopter). Tony is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, NAFI Master Flight Instructor, FAA Safety Counselor and was named Arkansas CFI of the Year 2003 and FAA SW Region CFI of the Year 2003. Tony has been a corporate pilot, owner and Chief Flight Instructor of a Part 141 Flight School, a speaker at FAA Safety Meetings, a published aviation author on tailwheel flying and was a Marine Corps and National Guard Helicopter Crew Chief.

Velda
VELDA MOORE - "TIGER-BABY"
- Tampa, Florida - CUSTOMER SERVICE REP -
Degree in Computer Science. Student Pilot (single engine airplane and glider). Velda worked for Bendix (aerospace electronics) and Barnett Bank (customer service and computer specialist), was an All-State in Track, Softball and Band and coached Little League Baseball. Velda provides customer service and aircraft cockpit briefings in St. Augustine and on our tour.
